"Working with local producers has to do with integrity. We celebrate the village community and try to focus on nearby suppliers as much as possible," notes Chef Torsen Bolz, adding, "Many guests are surprised by the high quality and wide range from the region."
"Local roots are also essential at the Romantik Hotel Bären. Baker, butcher, cheesemaker. Bolz finds most of his ingredients in Dürrenroth and the immediate surroundings. This proximity from the production to the kitchen is to be conveyed directly to the guests in the Bären. Especially in the garden, this approach takes place at the grill.
