The Grandfey estate is characterized by impressive, centuries-old trees. Among them are two majestic Feys - from the Latin fagus, beech - which gave the place its name. The extensive park includes a French garden, an orchard and a wooded area that stretches down to the meanders of the Saane and Lake Schiffenen. There are also several sculptures on over four hectares that were created especially for this site. The blossoming, carefully tended park, through which a public path leads, offers a magnificent view of the city of Fribourg, its cathedral and the foothills of the Alps.
