In the fall, Gault&Millau and Michelin, two of the world's most renowned restaurant guides, publish their new ratings. Several Garten Hotels restaurants can also look forward to receiving an award in 2025.
Gault&Millau rates the restaurants on a scale of 1 to 20 points, with 20 being the highest score. The ratings are based on criteria such as quality of ingredients, creativity of dishes, technique and service. Every year, Gault&Millau publishes a new guide that recognizes the best restaurants in Switzerland .
Michelin, on the other hand, awards outstanding restaurants with a star rating. This ranges from one to three stars and is only awarded to restaurants that are outstanding in all assessment criteria such as product quality, culinary artistry, taste, innovation, value for money and consistency of performance. The green star is awarded to restaurants that have impressed the inspectors with their committed vision for future-oriented gastronomy.
